One question changed the trajectory of Jonathan McLernon's life. In answering this question, he realized he was not taking care of himself due to his view of humility. Overwhelmed by trauma, he found himself repeatedly submitting to unhealthy eating habits and experienced extreme weight gain. However, once he learned why he chose his unhealthy behavior and showed himself compassion, he lost well over one hundred pounds, and now, he is helping others do the same, marrying science and behavior change to create lifelong transformations. He says that we often ask God to move the obstacles, but it is more important to ask God to guide us through the obstacles.
