After her counselor listened to her sob story, she expected her to hand her a kleenex, pat her on the back, and engage with her feelings of defeat. Instead, the counselor looked at her and said, "Megan, you know that motherhood is not your highest calling." Blinded-sided by the counselor's response, Megan Nilsen could not initially understand what the counselor meant because motherhood was all she was doing. Then, the counselor went on to explain that her truest and highest calling is as a child of God and that she needed to anchor her identity there first.

Sue Corl's life was riddled with hardship from birth. Born with a severe cleft palate, no nose, upper lip, or upper palate, along with severe breathing issues, her concept of beauty was shaped by hurtful words. For most of her younger life into young adulthood, she felt unwanted and unloved. However, an invitation from her brother to do mission work set her on a path of healing. Now, she travels the world sharing with other women how they are loved by God, introducing them to salvation. Her most poignant work is done through her organization Crown of Beauty International.

When Michael Jaquith heeded God's call to leave his corporate job to become an entrepreneur, he unlocked the next level of his life. Although he grew up in an abusive home, he felt he had overcome the turmoil of his past until he felt he was looking at his father in himself. He was determined not to repeat those behaviors. God heard his plea. Counseling and eventually life coaching allowed him to visualize the man he wanted to become. He took action to better himself. Then, God issued the challenge for him to help others do the same. Now, he is the Catholic Life Coach for men.
