In episode two of our three-part series with Darla Colinet, she shares how her books and courses are helping others overcome the cyclic nature of abusive marriages. Even if an individual is unable to escape the marriage, she describes how she has helped the abused create a safe space in their home. Knowing that we can still say no and set boundaries is the start of creating healthier relationships, but first, the abused must reform their mind about what is and is not appropriate in the relationship. One question an individual can ask themselves is whether they would allow the abusive actions toward Jesus because what is done to them is done to Him.
